Wings manufactures the Engine Guard Wild in SAE 1020 steel tube with a diameter of 1.1 / 4" inches and 2.65 mm thick. It has a solid top bar, preventing folding in the event of a collision. The set is fixed using Allen or Tork screws, following the standard inch of the motorcycle.
In welding, the TIG process is used, widely used in the aerospace industry. This stands out for offering greater resistance, quality of finish and safety in severe conditions of use. In the painting, a pretreatment of the surface is carried out where all impurities are removed, ensuring the perfect anchoring of the paint. Then the powder painting is done with polyester electrostatic paint from the Politherm 26 family which has excellent adhesion, flexibility, high physical resistance, good chemical resistance, excellent resistance to weathering and yellowing.
